Momentum Park(our)

This fragmented mural, created in collaboration with American Parkour, consists of fourteen 32 x 96" panels featuring silhouettes, stencils, and architectural motifs. Inspired by da Vinci and modern movement, the piece reflects parkour’s philosophy: adaptability, courage, and purpose.

Working closely with mentor Mark Toorock, I rooted the design in parkour’s culture and history. The process pushed me technically and creatively, mirroring the improvisation and intention at the heart of the practice. This project deepened my interest in art that moves—physically, emotionally, and in dialogue with place.

David Belle and the Flying Machine

This piece merges the origins of parkour with Renaissance imagination. A silhouette of David Belle, the founder of parkour, surges forward across a field of luminous green and textured blue. His movement is echoed by ghostly white forms reminiscent of da Vinci’s flying machine studies, suggesting the leap from grounded discipline to boundless flight.

Embracing Challenge with Jesse Danger

This work honors Jesse Danger and the healing power of community through parkour. Figures in motion surround a semicolon—symbol of resilience—while da Vinci’s Atlas carries the weight of the world. The mural becomes both a tribute and a reminder: through movement and connection, even the heaviest burdens can be transformed.

An APK Nod to Banksy

This piece recalls a moment of mystery in parkour history, when American Parkour founder Mark Toorock suspected he had crossed paths with Banksy after one of the artist’s stencils appeared at a small parkour gathering in South London. Blending bold silhouettes with street-art textures, the work pays homage to both the underground roots of parkour and the fleeting, anonymous spirit of urban art.

Sebastien Foucan and the Flying Machine

In vibrant pinks and yellows, this work celebrates Sebastien Foucan, a key figure in the development of freerunning. His silhouette is set against layered stencils and echoes of da Vinci’s inventions and anatomical sketches, linking Renaissance visions of flight with the creative freedom of modern movement. The piece captures both invention and liberation—an artist’s dream of flight made physical through Foucan’s leap.

A Tribute to Leonardo Da Vinci

This piece layers Renaissance invention with contemporary street textures. A sanguine rendering of da Vinci’s drawing anchors the work, intersecting with roadway patterns that reference the modern landscape of movement. A quote from the da Vinci film threads through the composition, bridging centuries of inquiry into the body, mechanics, and the pursuit of flight.

A Tribute to the National Building Museum

Set against the museum’s iconic arches, a figure balances on towering columns, uniting movement with architectural grandeur. The work celebrates the dialogue between human agility and monumental space, highlighting how parkour reimagines historic structures as sites of play, challenge, and connection.

A Tribute to OLLO

A bold, stylized OLLO shoe print dominates the composition in black and gray, paying homage to the footwear brand embraced by the parkour community. The piece underscores the intimate connection between body and surface—how every step, jump, and landing leaves both an impression and a story on the spaces we move through.

A Tribute to the Dam du Lac

This work honors one of parkour’s legendary training grounds, the Dam du Lac in Lisses, France. The structure rises boldly across the composition, overlaid with Georges Hébert’s enduring motto—“être fort pour être utile” (“be strong to be useful”). Together, the imagery and words capture parkour’s roots in discipline, resilience, and service, reminding us that movement is not only an act of freedom but also of purpose.
